I think there were some health issues as well as financial problems that made him decide to take the path he did. Sad indeed. RIP.

I heard a story one time that they kept the fact that Stone and Woods were black quiet sort of, because of the times and that they felt it would hurt their image if people knew. Those were some different times for sure.

Sorry to see him end up his days like that.
