    More early rear engine dragster

This is likely the first twin, rear engine dragster to run. Don Jensen, "Head Hunters", two Merc flathead engines, 1956.

It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

Luck occurs when preparation and opportunity converge.

Haven't found any time or mph info Dave, just the location stuff Streets copied, my guess is they stayed in the So Cal area.

This one isn't a rear engine twin, but it's such a wild idea it had to be shown. Those are Ford Formula ohc engines. He bought five of them for $3500 when a rules change made them obsolete for formula racing. Of course that was in mid '60's dollars, so they weren't exactly cheap cheap.

Streets, you wouldn't happen to have a picture of Eddie Hill's twin Pontiacs that tore up the staring line at the 61 Nats would you?
