The air was great and the lanes appeared to be pretty even.Ken Thomas

I know I'm getting "long in the tooth", but as I recall Garlits held the Top Fuel record at 6.50 for about 2 1/2 years...and now Pro Stocks are running 6.50's!!
WOW, VA has always been a quick track, sorry I missed that one.Buying parts I don't need, with money I don't have, to impress people I don't like

Kind of bugged me when Tony Pedregon again said Force threw it when he raced Hight. He must not have seen the interview-Force was a little pissed he got beatwww.adoptafriendforlife.org

John might have thrown the race that got Robert in the chase( I don't blame him if he did) but had he beat Robert yesterday it would have helped Ashley as well as himself so it was stupid for Tony to open his pie hole about it at all. It was a pretty good race. I'd love to see Ashley win the championship, she can really wheel a car. That was a hell of a save yesterday.I remember when hot rods were all home made.

I really am getting sick and tired of these announcers who keep draggin' it up over and over again! They just won't let it go! That old dude who was asking Tony P. about a whole different round then sticks it in that Force is racing a team car and here we go again. Even Mike Dunn was saying that John really needed to win that round.Last edited by 34_40; 10-12-2009 at 06:33 AM. Reason: mis-spelling

Yup, it was a killer track and super air!!!! Doubt we'll see runs like that again this season....at least not side by side in the .52's!!!! Heck, the funny's were over 300.... whos was that clown a few months back when Top Fuel went to 1,000 ft said the 300mph runs were over?????Del Worsham had one pass, was 264 at the eighth!!!!!

I really love those pro stockers, and that was one heck of a race...I was
glad to see Mike win one...Both of those guys have class in my opinion,
but I still root for Jeg, simply because I buy most of my parts from him. RD
