I'm doing some info gathering for one of my brother's cars. I was hoping I might find some help.

The car: 1966 L-72 Biscayne (the REAL DEAL). Danube Blue, Muncie 4 spd. F-40 suspension, bench seat, rubber mat, factory in-dash tach, radio delete.

The car was bought new at Floyd Hughes Cheverlot in Council Bluff, Iowa by Daryl Aerosmith, and later sold to his brother Ron.

The car was raced at Omaha Flight Dragway, Wichita Dragway & KCF. The car was sponsored by Rosen-Novak Chevrolet.

We are doing a "day two" build of the car. As it would have looked during its race days.

I need ANY info on the Aerosmith's (said to be still be burning up the tacks), any of the drag strips mentioned, either of the dealerships mentioned and especially any stories from the day of having your doors blown off by a mysterious, dark blue, family sized sedan ! (or vice-versa )

Thanks,
Marty
