    The season is approaching...

Where's your closest track and when does it open? Mine is about 10 miles from my house. Just opened a few years ago. here's a link.

Heres mine , they tore up the old track over the winter and within the last 2-3 weeks have finished pouring a BRAND SPANKING NEW concrete track. I love it. It is a 1/8 mile but its the best 1/8 mile in Texas! I have seen Pro Mods, Top fuel cars and even jet cars on this itty bitty track. The owners have done and continue to do their best to make this a very fast ,clean ,and family oriented track. Anyways sorry for rambling on just looking foward to the new year.

I go to bandimere speedway http://www.bandimere.com. This is their 50th anniversary season. 30mi drive one way. First test and tune is 4/12 (hopefully, I have the car put back together by then ). They also completely redid the racing surface 1/4mi all concrete (used to be first 660' concrete, last 660' asphalt) and added underground cooling pipes to control the surface temperature, should make for more consistent launches in all weather

    ^^^ That bites, Scooter...

We have 5 dragstrips within 250 miles but the next nearest to Bandimere is 132 miles away which is too far for me without a trailer. Would be nice to run the car somewhere that has air
