I talked with John at the Phoenix show. I was a little concerned with the way he looked and acted. Not the old John Force I'm used to. Personally, I wish he'd take a year off and get completely well. Others I spoke with at the show felt the same way.

Let me just say this though, for those of you who haven't had the opportunity to deal with him through the years as I have. Mr. (heavy on the Mr.) John Force is the consumate professional drag racer. Although he comes across as brash sometimes, I'm convinced he would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. I have never seen him in a foul mood at the drags. Always helpful when I go to tech his cars and never, never a tech problem. First class equipment operated by a first class gentleman.
