my brother in law [ex] used to race a B/SR from 1972 till approx 1976. it was hemi powered , and the name was greer and smithfield. was runner up ant the 72 spring nationals. i am trying to track the car down. last i herd of it ,it was a tow car for a flathead dragster in so cal cuzz the roll cage was not up to date. in 78 it had a boss 302 in it and was named roadster rebelion. info would be great.

I believe Chuck Smithfield is still racing comp eliminator. If you could find him, he might be able to give you some pics and/or info on the old car. What if the "Hokey Pokey" is what it's really all about?

yes he won the comp world final a year ago. not bad for a 60 plus year old. he devloped his own blown small bloc chev for that car ,i think BB ALTERED. he now lives in the north west . i take my hat off to him. at the 72 spring nationals he beat someof the best, fred hurst, rod shop, and lee sheperd to get in the final round just to have a week battery not start the car for the final. a e /alterd soloed for the win. i was their.
