he's full of it. 90% of the bracket cars I've seen just have the usual plastic fuel tank in the trunk, with a firewall between the trunk and driver's compartment. Think he's reading a lot of things into the rule book. Most dirt car rule books require a can for the fuel cell. Maybe he's an ex-circle burner or something.....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

I would say if anything the shielding would be illegal. Similar to running fuel lines inside the frame. If you spring a leak in the fuel system you could have allot of fuel in the frame ( or shielding) before the leak is noticed. Big kaboom if it ignites. ................ But I could be all wrong.
