I knew a guy with a mustang w/ a swingout DB kit and complained that when he drove it on the street (which was 99.999% of the time) he thought it was a hassle to swing the bar in and out. I suggested he pull the pivot pin and simply remove the bar for street use. I thing he's long since lost the bar.
