rear control arms
does it matter on rear control arms in drag racing if so what should i get for my 95 mustang gt. i am buying lakewood drag shocks and eibachs drag spring kitSomebody else is doing the driving for that boy!

The stock control arms are flimsy stamped steel things with soft rubber busings and bound up bolts. My personal preference for control arms is UMI, strong and reasonably priced. I use Southside Machine lift bars and uppers on my '00 GT (same platform as your '95) along w/ Koni drag shocks. They're hard on the torque boxes but it launches hard and sticks well with DRs.

I'd suggest using the torque box reinforcement package along with the bars, and some frame ties... Put all that torque to work moving the car forward instead of tearing the subframe out of the car!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
