    1/4 Mile Guess Times

So take a 2,800 pound car full of gas with driver 280 horses to the tire 330 ft pounds of torque to the tire 4.11 gears 3 speed TH 350 trans ive heard 12,s or 13,s any ideas from experience . Anything under 14 is welcome haa haa just a wild guess is ok for me .

Oh and yes nail the gass off the line enough traction that there is no tire spin just good ole get up and go

If absolutely everything is working - 12.5 @ 108. However, with street tires, that may not happen. Best guess: 13.2 @ 102.

nope the shaking is gone found out i riped my3rd diff mount in half . The stock mount is 2 pieces of steel with eurthane in between well eurthane isnt as strong as i thought it was so i had the 2 pieces of metal welded together and i tore the welds apart also .

So i ordered a custom solid steel mount and the problem is solved . Funny thing ive never been balls to the wall when racing anyone yet i havent had to kinda makes me nervous to do so but maybe one day ill have to .

Oh i forgot to mention i do have a nitrous set up i havent used yet not sure if i need it but i bet it would be fun .

I know you are excited and every thing, but racing on the street is not a good idea. While raining also, thats not smart at all.If you are not concerned about your safety atleast think about the family thats going to dinner on the road next to you.You can't even tell anything about the performance of your car racing on the street.Hate to be a bummer but I hate to hear about people racing their cars on the street.

Which strip is closed? I go to Bandimere and they're still open till mid-October. You'll probably want to do a Wed. night test and tune. I think PMI in Pueblo is closer for you, though but I'd be surprised if they're done for the season, either.

Put her on the strip and see what happens!
