Thanks for the props! That 383 was too much for the old running gear! The chunk let go and took the tranny out with it! (just driving down the hiway.) Just put in a tricked out Turbo 350 and an axle assembly out of a police model with posi and a real fat sway bar! Should help my traction problems a bit! The only problem is I had to go with a 5" bolt circle assembly and my wheels are 4 3/4" so I'm going to have to drill the axle flanges and probably drums. My old axles wouldn't fit the splines. Anyone know if I can use my old drums and backing plates? Any other advice would be appreciated.Last edited by Sleeper959; 03-25-2006 at 01:41 PM.
