    Question 69 cuda times?

Im just wondering, I recently put a brand new 340 engine in my car with a 30 over bore, high compression pistons, hooker comp headers, super 40's mufflers and straight 3in pipe dumped at the rear. What will my approx. 0-60 and 1/4 mile times be. thanks.

We need a few more things to figure it out, weight of car, rear wheel hp and the rpm it occurs at, trans type, rear end ratio, rear tire height, tire type and front/rear weight distribution, with that info we can get real close.

    69 CUDA:

A number of 340's used to run high 13's-low 14's. The big difference between now and then is that tires are better.
Maybe you could sneak into the 12's if you had a good drag radial.

I had a 340 Formula S 69 fastback Cuda with cheapo headers and open exhaust that ran a best of 13.2 @ around 102mph. It had a 600 or 650 Holley doublepumper and a Fairbanks Transmission. Don't remember what gearing, maybe 4.10's. It was a long time ago. They didn't give us 0-60 times back then but I do remember traction was a problem. I had to walk it out of the hole.
