man, PRO60, that baby is just outright mean, nasty and wicked. I think you are going in the right direction with the 11 inch rear.
Is that gonna B the 90050 with steel brakes or
the 90055 with carbon brakes?
That iz' 1 heafty' unit. HEHEHE
Mountain motor looks kewl too. You gotta make the trip to Rt. 66 for the Super Chevy Show. If your considering it, I'll get U a schedule as soon as they are available soz' U can plan the trip. That's a weekend of the best of the best of anything Chebbie.
Hey, when its done, can i borrow the car? I want to see how fast the local cops are....... Seriously though, nice looking motor. whats the specs on that beast?
Thats a serious looking piece of metal. I like the TIG welded manifold. Must pull some real high revs, ceuse it looks like a small capacity plenum under those dominators. That port injected nitros set up should wind it right up.

What a MONSTER!!!! Geez.....Will it fit? :HMMM:

In the class I'm gonna be running in, (Outlaw Super Street) the car has to be pretty much as close to street legal as possible. I will have working lights and all the other stuff required to register it. Now as far as getting an inspection sticker, well, that's a whole nuther ball of wax. And you better not say a word to Mom either, I told her all about you and those pictures!:LOL:Quote:

Pole is right by the back door to my shop. NOOOOO, wern't me dat' broke it. Power came back on just in time to watch H.S. State Champ. Football. Our town is playing today. Too bad their gettin' whooped 29-0. OOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHH we just scored on a 4th and 15. 29-7 now.

Killer motor Pro. That should push you down the 1/4 mile pretty quick. Were you able to save anything on the old block?

What kind of chassis do you have under your 60 Impala to handle all that motor . also what did you do for brakes.Do you use any part of the dogbone frame. I can't remember what the original frame is called.
Every piece except for about 3 feet of the front frame rails is gone to the scrap pile. From the firewall back will be replaced with a tubular double rail frame. It will be all chrome moly for weight savings and strength. Basically it will end up being my Belair body sitting on a funny car type cage and frame. The frame rails that came out were HUGE, and the original "X" member was already gone before I got the car. I stopped by the chassis shop just minutes ago and all that was there was a body shell, and the front frame rails.:CRY:Quote:

Nope! Gonna do it with steel. The only thing that is fiberglass is the hood scoop.Quote:

Got an estimate on the new weight after it's rebuilt ???
The weight limit for Outlaw is 3200lbs max. The car started out at 3602 with me. I turned the scale numbers up to 200. I have a picture of what it looked like tonight when I stopped there. I'll post it as soon as I shrink it.:CRY:Quote:

Funny you should mention the dog. You can't see it in the picture, but right in front of the car, the shop dog "TC" was sleepin on one of the seats I took out. It's a big black Lab all curled up just dreamin away.:LOL:Quote:
