Fingers are crossed on it being completed in January 2005. He says less, but I'm figuring January.Quote:

Killer motor Pro. That should push you down the 1/4 mile pretty quick. Were you able to save anything on the old block?

What kind of chassis do you have under your 60 Impala to handle all that motor . also what did you do for brakes.Do you use any part of the dogbone frame. I can't remember what the original frame is called.
Every piece except for about 3 feet of the front frame rails is gone to the scrap pile. From the firewall back will be replaced with a tubular double rail frame. It will be all chrome moly for weight savings and strength. Basically it will end up being my Belair body sitting on a funny car type cage and frame. The frame rails that came out were HUGE, and the original "X" member was already gone before I got the car. I stopped by the chassis shop just minutes ago and all that was there was a body shell, and the front frame rails.:CRY:Quote:

Nope! Gonna do it with steel. The only thing that is fiberglass is the hood scoop.Quote:

Got an estimate on the new weight after it's rebuilt ???
The weight limit for Outlaw is 3200lbs max. The car started out at 3602 with me. I turned the scale numbers up to 200. I have a picture of what it looked like tonight when I stopped there. I'll post it as soon as I shrink it.:CRY:Quote:
