Need Help With My 32 Roadster

The shop that worked on my roadster removed the deck lid to get at the M/C reservoir. When they re-installed it, the edge no longer sits flush with the body. It sticks up about 1/4 inch (front left). They can't figure out how to adjust the mounts/hinges. Any suggestions?

Also the support shocks are shot. They say "Harwood" on them. Can I get replacements?

https://www.eharwood.com/ try this link, they may have made the parts originally, or sourced them?

They may also have some instructions in a database for those adjustments. It might be a wild shot? But maybe it's in there.
You'll have to do some research.

I'd put fender washers (or make a 1/4" shim) between the hinge plate and the body to lower the deck lid relative to the body. Put fender washers between the hinge plate and the trunk lid to raise the lid relative to the body.

Without seeing the configuration it's close to impossible to tell you an accurate path. If it fit well before the removal then they likely put some part of it back on incorrectly (assuming they didn't do a gorilla removal to bend things). Something is backward, crooked, inverted........whatever.....all we have available is guessing.

It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.
