IMO the W motors rate right up there with the flatheads and and HEMIs as far as just looking right in a hot rod.

That many cubes though I'd suspect the engine would be a LOT happier with a dual quad intake rather than the adapter on a on a 4 BBL intake.

That's a very nice 32 for sure. I like that engine too. You sure don't see them much compared to a SBC, BBC, etc.

OK I'll admit it I'm impressed (I'd still want to play with some other inductions, but I'm impressed )

That W motor and the Muncie just SCREAM hot rod. I was in high school when the W motors came out, and was green with envy.

My first car had a W motor, a 348 three speed, and I've always loved the unique look of them - even more now that they're so much harder to find.

    So Don, your intro says

which makes it sound like he's gonna be coming back to get this one when it's done, as opposed to him stalling out and you swooping in to pick up the pieces as yours to keep. Accurate assessment, or reading too much into your wording? Not a big deal, just wondering if you're working on it for yourself, or finishing it for a buddy.

I could tell the owner was one of your Buddies Don as soon as I saw where the headlights were mounted, down low where they look the best. I agree with everybody too on the engine gearbox combination, real hot rod stuff and the triples look excellent too.
I maybe a little crazy but it stops me going insane.
