    Two things Don (I read your post on the other site);
    1). You have a Lady that loves you as much as you love her!
    2). When you finish your magic the roadster it will be PERFECT!

    Good luck, and prayers for your wife's speedy recovery!

    Top and frame color suggests you might go blue.
    Or would you paint the frame and go for something else?
    I give the rear tires about a two day life span before you change them.

    1 day on the wheels and tires Ray, already ordered 15 & 16 steelies
    99 GM Indigo Blue on chassis, firewall, dash and bottom.
    Nice deep blue with just a hint of pearl to pop it.
    Probably do the wheels red or tan

    Very nice and I'm sure you will take the ugly out of it smartly. Is that paint on the top in the first photo or light from the open door shinning on the car making it look like paint on the top ? I agree with the wheels but I hope you do your magic on the exhaust also. I note too that it already has fog lights down low so you don't have to worry about that either.

    Don, a question on the grille insert. Was it polished stainless or chrome, and did you do anything but hit it with a scuff pad & epoxy prime before color? I know that painting chrome can yield rock chips and a crappy look down the road if not done right.

    I also like those curved gussets on the interior corners to support the interior panel. I may have to copy that feature....

    Roger, Polished SS. First I back tape the surround trim then I scratch the grill bars with 150 grit, then shoot dtm primer mixed HOT, let it flash, then slam the color on

    Thanks! If you don't mind can you post a shot of the insert once you pull the tape, just for grins. I think it's going to look killer with the blue body & red grille insert.

    Thanks Don. So once the shell is blue the "look" will be blue, polished SS trim ring, red bars, right? Gonna be sweet, for sure! Do you hit the front of your radiator with a light shot of black epoxy primer to blank it out, or leave it alone?
