Thanks Jerry. It's going to be push rod cantilever in board air bag front and rear. The tubular frame will be quite exotic.

Haven't given up...just crazy busy with work, wife had a serious roller derby accident and needed surgery, and now we have a wedding to pay for in August. After that, It's full speed ahead!
Sorry to hear about your wife's accident, glad to hear you're still kicking and working through it!
Pretty happy about this one:

Great job on the install. It's looking good.
Ok...need help on this one. I've already got a grill shell and an insert. Problem is the insert doesn't fit in the shell. I got a screaming deal on the insert, so it wouldn't hurt me to buy another. I just don't know what to order. Duane Jones (California Roadster Co.) sold me the shell - I don't know what brand it is. He thought he was sending me the one that would fit the white box Taiwan made insert. Doesn't fit. Which insert do I need to fit this shell? I have an original 1932 insert that doesn't fit in the shell...fyi.

My new insert not fitting in the fiberglass repop that fits the stock insert great...

Anybody have any ideas? I know the easiest and most assured way is to buy the set assembled...but I've already spent several hundred on what I have and shipping to Hawaii is damn expensive.
It's fiberglass. Cut it up and make the surround , well.. actually surround the insert of your choice. Repop parts never seem to "fit". I went through 4 or 5 grilles/surrounds setups on my coupe, then I just got frustrated and called Bob Drake for one of his repop grilles. I think I spent as much money in grilles as I did for motor / tranny setup!
Brookville steel 1932 parts----------go to my photo gallery by clicking the camera icon under my name/avitar---------check out pages 4,5,6 for some Brookville Roadster steel grill and hood pics of a customer 32 I built a few years ago----
34_40, my shell is steel (black one). The green one is glass and is on "loan". Jerry - that car is bad ass!! Very nice headers!! You are saying you just called up Brookville and purchased a built set of shell and insert?
Thanks for the input!
