Like Roger said - Sending it back removes me from liability.
Also, Jerry, this is the Big Island of Hawaii. I am the only machinist on the island, as far as I know. Sure, there is probably someone on Oahu who can do it, but it's just as easy to send it back to Cali...

I think my old Pinto is over there on that island

Got the spindle back. Magnum handled this very well. Refunded shipping cost and sent me some goodies.

So, had another little problem with the Magnum axle, but handled it myself. The pin/wedge that locks the kin pin in place was cut too deep, so the head of the pin was pulled halfway through the axle.
So I laid down a little stainless bead, turned it in the lathe and ground a bevel on it till it pulled about flush.

Getting a set of stainless bones from the fellow in Vegas?

I can't find my copy of his number direct, but I've got Ken looking for his.
If you're in a hurry you can also buy them from the Las Vegas SoCal Speed shop, talk to either Lenny Sr. or Jr. Don't know if there's any pricing difference, but will keep looking for the direct info if you have time.

How are things going over in the western huge lake?

Planning a trip to California Aug 27 thru Sept 15. Plan on bringing back some parts...
-
Ok, been a while. But wheels/tires bought and paid for, radiator, grill shell, insert, steering arms, split wish bones, transmission is on the way...!!!!
One question. What is an acceptable master cylinder for the Wilwood brakes up front and the stock drums out back? Standard pedal assembly below floor...
I'm thinking about a Wilwood aluminum body... just curious about bore size...
I'll post pictures when the goodies arrive from California (Duane Jones)...

Glad to see you still at it and back around!

Rear axle housing. I designed this, so it's pretty special to me. Overkill for my little street car, but who can say their rear axle is "their design"? !!!
