A potential problem with that registration approach is that you could find yourself without insurance coverage if you're using the vehicle on a regular basis, but it's registered and insured as a specialty vehicle. Wasn't there something posted here some time back about guys in Texas having problems if they parked their street rod at the grocery/retail store? Personally I don't like the idea of having to make up a story when there's a problem. Too hard to keep track of the excuses usedI'd register it as a street rod with unrestricted use, if it were me, but it's a moot point around here. Kansas doesn't allow "antique" tags on any replica's.
Just my $0.02.

Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.
