Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

It appears that your blower has a starter bracket attached to the top pulley area----but there is no room between it and the radiator for the starter---

Nice. Be careful--that car will be a Dodge Viper on steroids when you mash the go pedal!

If anyone on this forum knows a thing or two about a "funny car belt guard"?? it would be Jerry. Since you are new around here, you obviously didn't know Jerry campaigned one of drag racings finest AA/FC. Maybe Jerry or someone else will post a few pics for you.
BTW, nice '32.

I was just "suggesting" to him that maybe he was looking at something else and not what he was thinking it is.

Well after considering your" suggestion"----
Whatever is on the front of your blower allowed us the set the NHRA National ET record for top fuel at Fremont , California in 1971----I believe that it allowed us to go up the stock car staging lanes for a record backup run in the one hour time frame that they then allowed--there was no way to be able to go thru the top end fire up road within the time frame so we did it with a "Funny car belt guard" starting device!!!
Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
