    conduit for headlights

Fixing to install the conduit for the headlights to grill shell. is there some position that looks better than another on the shell. maybe some pics. may help. Any ideas would be great, seeing that you only get one shot with a drill bit

Maybe a picture of how you've mounted your headlights might help with ideas on the conduits? Just a thought.

How's this - stock '32 measurements taken from an unmolested "as manufactured" car:

12" from the bottom, 2" from the back side and at the centerline of the fitting

I didn't see a good shot of Don's light mounts in his gallery, but I know he mounts them really low most times, and I believe they're on frame mounts, right? I know it's not what you asked, but I ran my HL wires through the frame rails, entering on top just inside the firewall with conduits from the frame rail to the buckets.
Or maybe Don will post how he does them so you get the same look

Did mine the easy way. Ran the wires throught he frame and installed conduit through the inside of the frame mounts. The wires run up through the conduit and make a 90* bend up to the lights. All that's needed is a 3" piece of flexible conduit and a couple zip ties. Not a pro-built show car style setup but it was easy and it works. Cost me a whopping $0.00.

I mounted mine directly to the grill shell, but that was mainly because of the IFS.

Lay them out where your conduits have nice smooth radius bends and not pulled tight or sharp. That will let them absorb vibration and also flow with the lines of car.
