    Question American Classics

Just wondering if anyone has had any dealings with American Classics out of Clearfield ,PA? I met the owner Dennis Liegey at the AC car show last week and spoke about one of his rolling chassis 32 coupes. Seemed like a very nice guy. He says they use The Rod Shop bodys.
Being new to this arena (street rodding), I figured I'd ask the experts. Thanks.

Al. I haven't heard anything on them, but I can tell you that Red Neck has a great rolling package for 32's , they have all styles of bodies http://www.redneckcorp.com/ , you can also go to http://www.roadsters.com/bodies/#32-3 , this site has links to just about everything, just surf it for a while , parts bodies and tons of info and links. outlaw is in your area and makes an excellent product.http://www.outlawrods.com/. they've got rollers too. another fine Gentelman to deal with is Barry Lobeck of Lobecks Hot Rods. They do not have a web site ( that I know of anyway ) however if you call them , they'll send you a Catalog I do not have the number handy, just look in any of the Street Rod Mag's and you'll find him. Good People.! I've heard the Show me Rod's in Missouri put out a great product . on Roadsters.com look around for a list if the links and look for 'Bodies ' and open it and there is an alphabetical list of the majority of the mfg's out there. But before you buy I urge you to ask the Guy's on CHR for their input , there's a great deal of knowledge for the asking, and a GREAT bunch of Guy's too. Good Luck !

Thanks Tim, I have been researching the rolling chassis route to street rodding for some time now. I've been to just about every website I could find and spoken to everyone that would listen.
I travelled out to American Classics and after looking at his product and speaking at length with the owner Dennis, I placed an order for a fiberglass 32 coupe rolling chassis. He uses The Rod Shop bodies with power windows, Posie's Superbell 4" dropped beam axle and a 9" ford housing.
I'm so stoked to get started on my first street rod I can't stand it.. . I plan on using a blown 455 Buick and maybe a 5 speed.
I'm sure I'll make mistakes, but I'll have fun doing it..
