Goin to "Mangus" on monday for the guts, then back here to install the top, put a few more miles on it and drive it down to the L.A.Roadster show.

Let's see ----Time, HMMMMMMMMMMM
Retired, so have all the time I need.
Buildin these cars is a passion for me.
Don't play golf (stupid game as far as I'm concerned) don't chase women (had the same 1 for 25 years)
Don't drink (so I don't waste my money and the time).
Guess I just pop out 4 to 6 cars a year and be happy with it.
Been doin just that for the past 9 years and still enjoy it everyday. When I get to where I was goin, I forgot why I went there>

I hope when I'm retired I have the passion and you have. I sure hope I can be in the same position as you, to be able to build 3 or 4 cars a year, and the space to do it.

I agree with you on the golf..... why hit a small ball all the way down a field trying to get it into a whole that is to small and you have to walk after it ....It doesn't return by it self...... what is the fun in that....
The coupe looks good as does the roadster and can I ask how you come to your colour choices??? the roadster looks fantastic in the cream with the stripes and the colour of the wheels just scream look at me, brilliant.
Do you just build '32's or do you change every now and then for variety????

Re the colors.
"Ya gotta think outside the box"
Got tired of red, orange, black etc years ago.
Just my opnion, but my cars have the "Timeless look" Never outta style.
See too many guys who try to build a car with the old style look, but screw it up with, 4 bar f/e, or independent f/e then bob the frame horns, billet sh*t etc.
To each to his own, but I sure ain't gonna changeWhen I get to where I was goin, I forgot why I went there>

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
