It is not just a FEW ... malcontents ... is is almost half or more.

There are differences. Even horse shows have different events for their own kind.

Tennessee Walkers do not go to the Arabian events. Morgans have their own events, as do Quarter Horses and Paints. Palominos do not go the Mule/Donkey events.
