I did not say they did not work like you said. I just stated that the way yours are ... is NOT the standard way.

The extra latches do work well. I have a set in my 32 3W coupe. I got mine from Carolina Machine ... the folks who won the best NEW product with them back a few years back @ the NSRA Nationals ...
