I like it!
For all that the wreck was a PITA, it has a pretty good outcome don't it?Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.
Luck occurs when preparation and opportunity converge.

Your Deuce was nice before the flames, now it is really outstanding. Looks great.
Man, is it scary seeing a nicely finished roadster with all that new paint being sprayed on top of it! Half way through the job you had to be wondering what you had gotten into. My hat is off to the artists who have the courage and skill to create works of art like this, especially on someone else's car.

Now!!!.....it looks like a hot rod. Big change in the impact and personality of the car. You've got my vote.

Cool! Nice looking ride. It reminds me a little of the Tom McMullan roadster--same theme.

Man, how many highboy's were there at the car show....LOL! There aren't any highboy's in my area at all.
The highboy is my dream car, one of these days I will have one. Probably by the time I get one, everyone else will have one too.
Enjoy your new look!Go Hokies!!!!!! ACC CHAMPS '04,'07,'08

Great time to be buying a car, there were some screaming deals. Someone told me Brookville sold 60 new bodies Friday alone (orders). Guess the wait just got longer.

Car is back over at So-Cal to finish the punch list of little things. Plus- they never had time to align the front end. They got it real close. I pick up car Friday.
I've always loved the McMullin car but I like my flames better.
Didn't someone buy that car & paint the whole car black?

OK , I am going to ask a stupid question. Is that a small gas tank bolted in front of the radiator?

Yes. Lovingly known as a "Moon tank", they were run on many drag cars to keep the fuel away from the driver, limit the amount, and avoid supply problems from trying to push it forward during acceleration. Moon Equipment Company made them.

How many gallons do they hold?"
