Fiberglass question, inner and outer skin.

Not sure if this should be here or in the body work section, I have a glass roadster project i picked up from a guy and now Im in the process of finishing it. My question is the deck lid is in two pieces, inner and outer skins, what is the best way to mate these two pieces, resin, glue, ????. Thanks in advance
