Instead of Zoomie's, why not a set of lakes megaphone style headers?

Sanderson sells them, Speedway makes a nice kit for them.

That way you get the look and the exhaust is plumbed into a system that'll keep the fumes out of the cockpit as well as being as quiet as you want.

Far as I know, most state vehicle codes don't allow a front area of the car exhaust exit.
