Actually have not posted progress ... and this old thread came back up so ...
Put it all together and went to the GoodGuys event in Charlotte NC Octiber 2007 ... then went home and blew it apart for paint.
Worked all the fenders, got them black also and now back on the coupe for the last time.
If you look closely in the last photo, you can see the hood tops on the stands ... already painted and just needing a rub out and buffGoing 33 and 1/3 rpms in a IPOD world

Not really,
Factory GM cars and trucks do not have any flexiable junction ... and my 32 Roadster is done the exact same way as the 3W and I have over 50 thousand miles on it without a issue from the line.Jack

Although I am kind of a fenderless hot rod guy, I really have to admit a Deuce done like yours just looks so right. I even liked it before you started to paint it, but now it looks even better. You are so lucky to have it and your other ones too, they are really sharp.

I am still looking at your fuel line setup and I am guessing that is aluminum line?

Deuce, thanks for a realistic answer and amazing results. I have already started my scrap pile so I can really admire your final result!

".......So sanded it all down and resprayed. ......" Been there. done that on a couple of paint jobs over the years. Usually took me a couple of days to get over being mad before I started...
