Well, it did remind me of our ol' buddy Duane, he was a prince.
I'm not reading all of this thread. I'll just post this from wikipedia, about the beginning of "sleeks".
"A slick tyre (also known as a "racing slick") is a type of tyre that has no tread pattern, used mostly in auto racing. The first production "slick tyre" was developed by a company called M&H Tires in the early 1950s. It was a drag racing slick. By eliminating any grooves cut into the tread, such tyres provide the largest possible contact patch to the road, and maximize traction for any given tyre dimension. Such tyres are used on road or oval track racing, where steering and braking require maximum traction from each wheel, but are typically used on only the driven (powered) wheels in drag racing, where the only concern is maximum traction to put power to the ground."

Hey guys,
Looks like Faith finished her movie and is going to give a sneak peek at the Daytona Dream Cruise (http://www.daytonabeachdreamcruise.com/). Here's a reprint of the info from the Dream Cruise site:
Faith Granger, film maker extraordinaire, invites feedback from Daytona Beach Dream Cruise viewers. Be part of the screen test, be part of the fun!! Collectible souvenirs will be available for purchase in support of this monumental independent film. You'll definitely want to join everyone for this unforgettable experience! To read more on the making of the film, go online to issue # 5 of Still Runnin Magazine which featured DEUCE OF SPADES on the cover at: http://www.stillrunnin.com/magazine/sr5/cover plus photos and details at: http://www.stillrunnin.com/magazine/sr5/11-12
The Dream Cruise is the same weekend as the Billetproof Drags, so if you're in the area...
To wear that many hats for the pre-production, shooting, and I assume, post-production, is a pretty amazing feat. Post-production can take a long time, so I'm not surprised it is just now being screened. Way to go, Faith! I'll be watching for it.
Faith I like your project and look foward to watching your movie. You and your highboy are easy on the eyes!:D
Tonight's the night! I'll be in Daytona for the premier showing...:D:D:D
