Did you get your bias tires yet? I saw a beautiful '32 roadster last weekend at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Palm Beach and thought of you. It had reproduction Firestone "Gum Dipped" tires, tall on the rear and small on the front mounted on steel wheels with trim rings and hubcaps similar to yours. The owner had the car built by Mason's Hot Rods in South Carolina and couldn't tell me the supplier for the tires. The car was triple black and the wheels and tires made it look perfectly period correct. I hope you find something like that for your hiboy. Jim

Yeah, start chewing.
No really, Gum Dipped was Firestone's top of the line tire and a process that increased blowout protection. I didn't check the size but would guess 16". See the attachment below. If Interested, I would call Mason's and ask where they get them. Cheers.

I am pretty sure he is running 16 inch on the front, possibly 15 in the back.
Tires look similar to firestone A or H tires (that's the letter they assign to the tire on their catalog). Those are the ones they recommend most for old school rods.FAITH
