Check out FedEx GROUND. I ship this way all the time, and I bought 4 Model A doors and built 2 crates for the guy to put them in, shipped the crates to him, and issued a return call tag for each. Total shipping both ways on 2 crates, was like $ 240.00, or $ 60.00 per crate each way.

Can't the fender company help out on this? I'm surprised they aren't more involved. After all, they make and sell these regularly, right?
