This is the way I did it. Firewall. Then body. Then rear fenders. Then running boards and front fenders. Then grill shell / radiator and hood. Reproduction steel fenders may not fit well at all. May even require welding in a piece to make fit. Takes many hours! Hope this helps. Good luck!
