stock 36 or 39 steering wheel

Ok i just got a 36 or 39 steering wheel. It is the one where the banjo curve out at the bottom. so that year is that?
And i got the horn button with the long tube on it.
    Here is my qusetion
What can i do to use this wheel and buttion on a new column?
what would hold the horn buttion in if i cut the tube?
And does anyone make the center of that horn push in metal with the V8 in it?
