Thumbs down Why is this posted

Why are we getting the Deals on Ebay RSS feed? I and probably most everyone here will not buy a car that way. This just clutters the forum plus. If I really wanted to, I can search for those over priced vehicles myself very easily. Then there is the Racing Junk web site where the vehicles are usually more reasonably offered.

Please Brent, don't clutter this site with "junk"

But they still display as "New Posts", you just don't see the details if you click them. I don't believe there's a way to not see them at all, but if there is I'd like to know how...

"Ignore user" is an option within your user panel. Not sure if the posts will be gone entirely or not, but it's worth a shot for those bothered by them.

Already tried the Ignore User option, Bill. The posts still show, but if you click on one the text & pictures are replaced with an "ignore list" message. That option really does not help eliminate the clutter in the active messages listing.

    I know, I know!! It's MY turn

As far as Ignore User, that would mean that we would still see the posts but not the verbiage. I had one on my list and his posts came through, but not what he said

    Enough changes - puhleze!!

Is it just me, it also seems like since we went to the new format there are a lot more new 1 or 2 post users selling stuff or advertising car shows.

Well, you know I've always got 2 cents worth to share. I don't care for ebay ads on here every time I open up. I don't come here looking for a car. I come here for the comaraderie and information concerning high performance and construction. Brent, if you have time on your hands, how about setting up the quadruple-cross-referenced technical library we talked about?
