I've heard if you put 305 heads on a 350 then the compression ratio will jump up, because of small sombustion chambers, but since thier 305 heads they also restrict airflow because of small valves. I was wondering which way this goes? Does it overall help because the higher compression is greater than the airflow restriction? Or does this hurt because the air flow isnt good enough and outweighs the compression ration increase?
