I have a 1980 Camaro with a 1979 4 bolt main 350. 10:1 pistons, 441 casting heads, from a 69 or 70 with 1.94 valves.
I will be using a summit tunnel ram combo with the 450's on it and stock point ignition (Because of the clearence problem) a 3000 torque master stall converter, and 3:90 gears.
My question is. What cam to use ? The comp cam magnum 280H cam is one that I have always wanted to try. But while my wife was looking it up on the computer, we discovered a comp cam magnum 286H grind with choppy idle, and needs at least a 2800 stall- I LIKE IT !!! We don't race the car but ,we want it to run and sound good. Just curious on your opinion.
