Okay heres my setup 283 bored .060 over to get 292 ci. Im running the stock forged crank, and a set of proline h beam rods. World products s/r torquer 305s and crane cams 1.5 long slot roller rockers. edelbrock super victor intake with a Mighty demon 650 carb. Now for the hard part the cam i went back and forth for a long time before choosing cranes solid lifter #113841. Remember in a 283 a mild cam acts like a race cam. This combo has desktop dynoed at anywhere from 410hp @ 7000 to 450 @7000 depending on the software. Also my car is a 32 ford three window so i didnt need much torque to get the car rolling.
