head help
could some-one tell me what 1#,2#,and 3#, is in this pic? and on 2#, why is it all jacked -up? this is my 283 head.

#1 is the valve stem
#2 is whats left of the destroyed valve seal.
#3 is the valve spring shim to get the proper installed height or spring preasure

whats left of the destroyed valve seal........so are the head's junk now?
