Skirt tabs on cast pistons are very easily cracked/broken just handling the pistons while on the rods-the flip side to side against shank of rod will very easily crack and/or break off the amount of the tabb that you see in these pics-----while there are only a few pics in this thread, I see several no-no's but have received no comment back from poster

What's the purpose of that tab? I have another set of pistons doesnt have them
