    c10 tbi to carb conversion

I have a 68 c10 that I'm putting a 94 tbi engine in I got from a friend for free just bottom end no top other than the swirl port heads.
Long story short I'm looking to put vortex heads on, cam it, and get performance intake that will fit the vortex heads and bolt my edelbrock 650 carb to. I'm building this to be a street beater. Right now it is down to frame, just painted it and got all new suspension so will be a while before I get to drive train I'm just looking to get answers so that I can pick up the exact parts I need as I go any and all help is greatly appreciated as I'm trying to learn from a few of the more informed gear heads out there.

I need to get some cam suggestion that will help power output without having to machine the vortex heads for now I know I may have to upgrade springs?
Also need intake suggestions? I know I need vortec intake but will all of them let me bolt carb right to it?
Would also like any tips of things I'm missing or any helpful tips yall have, thank you!

An Edelbrock RPM Performer intake works well on the street, as far as cams go I'd suggest something like the Xtreme Energy™ XR258HR. It should provide excellent low end torque, working well in the 1000 to 5000 rpm range and not require any machine work, although it would require aftermarket valve springs. Here's a link to their site with all the cam specs for that particular camshaft. COMP Cams: Xtreme Energy™ XR258HR; 1000 to 5000 RPM Range

Here is the link for the Intake............https://www.summitracing.com/parts/edl-7101/overview/

I would look up all the specs on those springs and then bump them with the folks at Comp Cams, just to make sure they will work with this combo.
