    I like to drill a small hole in the dipstick at full and add marks. Clean oil on a shiny dipstick is hard to see, but will stay in the little hole, and is easily seen.

    Denny, Im not sure I understand what you are saying here. Can you please elaborate more on this process, it sounds intriguing.
