    Another way to play is to build a 331 like this legend: Pro Stock Engine - Grumpy Jenkins' Small-Block Chevy Race Motor - Car Craft Magazine I built a 302 and a 331 "back in the day" by mixing up parts and not so radical as this was but both had a lot of fun factor.

    Or you could just be like the thousands who only buys what ever body else buys and get lost in the parking lot. Good luck to you for doing something it sounds like you enjoy doing. If it wasn't for hot rodders doing their own thing it would not have lasted as long as it has. sometimes you just have to do things that are different because you want to.
