Do you have any of the ecm features hooked up? or is the car totally rewired to take advantage of a simple carb system vs efi? What are you using to supply fuel to engine? Pressure regulator set at what pressure??

I figured everything out, reason for backfire was because I had two sparkplug wires mixed up on distributor(cylinder 3 and 4), on accident.. Got car to cut off now by running my switch wire from the msd box to a separate switch.. Thanks for all the help, car is running perfect, ready to hit the strip..

Glad you got it sorted out. So what kind of pushbutton start did you install? Just curious, and wondering why you need that separate switch....

Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.
