Help cant match casting number 2bbl intake
Hi guys maybe someone can help me out ,I was going through a few SBC parts i have in my barn and I came across an older 2bbl intake and cant find a casting # match on the web. Numbers is 14014435 with an X stamped below the number, I am 100% sure on the number as it is very clear to read, I tried to post a pic but cant upload it ...anyone?Last edited by rotaxmax; 04-02-2015 at 11:38 AM.

14014434 is in the book but not 35.....are you sure of the number? My book shows only six part numbers starting with a 1 and having 8 digits....

I just emailed the pics off to another member who will try and post them for me,I know, weird number, but that is how Im reading it and other guys in the shop, maybe he can upload it so everyone can see it Thanks

Isnt that a TBI (throttle body injection) manifold from about 1990 or so? May not be Chevy.....but it is GM small block corporate engine.

Had a guy tell me today it is a ,service replacment intake from mid 70s, bought at a dealer... maybe so, I will check with two GM dealers here on Monday Thanks

Really interesting firing order...... V7 maybe
It cant be a TBI like I said earlier...the TBI has a weird 3 bolt flange gizmo
Not sure when they started the firing order on the intake plus the labeling
of each cylinder.....but the 1401 series of part numbers is fairly recent.Last edited by robot; 04-03-2015 at 05:04 PM.

I get a 1980 -85 sbc 267-305. Appears the 1 from the firing order is missing?
