427 small blocks
Does anyone have any opinions regarding the dart 427 small blocks. Can they make good horse power ,as big blocks don't seem to make a lot of horse power until you spend big bucks

They can produce great power IF you select the right components for it. The Dart blocks are strong, ran them in a number of drag cars and street cars, huge improvement over the stock blocks....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

were are you looking ? at the end of the day CID wins most all the time. if you do not buy this check out what one of my customers did with one of my engines up a snow cap ski hill .mccarthy performance face book. a bbc can make more power and build more CID then a dart small block dollar for dollar with a stock 9.800 deck bbc to 496/510 with a good set of heads . but if you do not have the room and some added weight them a 427 sbc will workIrish Diplomacy ..the ability to tell someone to go to Hell ,,So that they will look forward to to the trip
Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
