I have only pulled the 1 exhaust rocker so far, and could see where it hit a little on the retainer. Is it possable to use the stock 1.5 rockers with my current camshaft, or will it be another disaster that will saw my studs in half??? The push rod holes in these heads look like the 327's did even though their 96 heads.

it s not just if the head has a slot and guided or just drilled out it is that your runing the wrong retainer and or valve locks that putting the retainer up were the roller tip needs room to track if the heads have gulde slots you run a stander roller tip rocker 1.5 will work so will a 1.6 but needs to be checked may need a louis tool /sloting tool
