I hope this would be the place to try to clairify my delima.. I just picked up a 327 sbc casting # 3782870 but what my delima is is what the code that follows is thats up front I can track most of it down but am lost on the suffix heres what the block casting says F040iu i know this is the plant and date but when i research the suffix iu it comes back big block anyone have any info on the number or can let me know why my small block has a iu suffix any help would be apprecited thanks
